Red House Patriotic Etui
Can we set aside the traumas of the past several months and celebrate the America that we love as we stitch this self-lined Red House Patriotic Etui?
I may add an upside down distress signal flag option to the chart but we will focus on the Truth, Equal Rights, and Democracy that we have aspired to for 250 years as we create the etui.
I stitched the model on 37-count linen with 11 Needlepoint Inc. silks, gold Au Ver A Soie Accentuate, and a spool of 100.3. The stitches are Cross Stitch, Sawtooth Satin Stitch and Nun’s Stitch along with my technique for joining Nun’s Stitch.
Kits include wool felt, Kelmscott mother of pearl hearts, shirt buttons, and red silk ribbons.
